It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner's husband Late.Sri.Madatti Gowda T., filed an application in Form No.53 on 05.03.1999 seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation of 1 acre of land in Survey No.52/P (New Sy.No.167) of Gopala Village, Lakkavalli Hobli, Tarikere Taluk, Chikkamagalur District. It is contended that application is not yet considered till date and no orders are passed. 3. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4, to verify from the records as to whether such application filed by the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10698 WP No. 4735 of 2026 petitioner's husband at Annexure-A dated 05.03.1999 is pending consideration. If it is found that such application was indeed filed by the petitioner's husband and the application is yet to be considered, the respondent Nos.2 to 4 is directed to place before the Committee for regularisation of unauthorised occupation, the application along with their recommendation within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Committee shall consider the application and pass necessary orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
