Newar for the applicant Amar Singh Chauhan who has filed this application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 with prayer for condonation of delay of 72 days in filing the connected criminal revision petition. The applicant is aggrieved by the Judgment dated 11.12.2025 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Udalguri dismissing the Criminal Appeal No.21/2025 upholding the conviction of the applicant /petitioner passed by the learned Addl.CJM, Udalguri vide Judgment and Order dated 11.04.2025 passed in P.R.C. No.84/2023. The applicant was convicted under Section 324 of the IPC to undergo RI for one year and under Section 326 of the IPC to undergo RI for 3 years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/- with default stipulation . 3. Learned Addl.Public Prosecutor Mr.P.S. Lahkar is present for the State respondent No.1. 4. It is submitted that the applicant is before this Court through the Gauhati High Court Legal Aid Counsel. This is the reason of delay as the applicant was not aware of the proper procedure of law which resulted in the delay . 5. I have considered the submissions at the bar with circumspection. 6. Sufficient grounds have been shown. No malafide is discernible Thereby, the delay of 72 days in filing the connected criminal revision petition is condoned. 7.
