THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13763 WP No. 7425 of 2026 CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2. Notice to respondent No.3 is not necessary for the following reasons. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Anekal Taluk has not taken any action on the representation dated 28.05.2024 at Annexure-G given by the petitioner for change of mutation entry pursuant to the Will said to have been left behind by the petitioner's father and mother in the year 2002. 3. However, the learned Additional Government Advocate points out from the RTC's produced at Annexure-D series that the names of the petitioner and his brothers are shown in the RTC pursuant to mutation order bearing No.MRT 11/2023-24 dated 08.04.2024, by way of partition. Similarly reference is also available in the RTC that earlier there was another mutation entry made in terms of MR No.H 35/2014-15 dated 19.06.2015, again by partition. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13763 WP No. 7425 of 2026 4. Nevertheless, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent No.2 - Tahsildar, Anekal Taluk is duty bound to consider the representation given by the petitioner and pass necessary orders either entertaining the representation, proceeding to issue notices to all concerned and thereafter take action in accordance with law or give an endorsement to the petitioner rejecting the representation given by the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the above. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
