Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 200 days and there are hardly any materials to connect the present petitioner with the alleged offence. It has also been submitted that the statement of the witnesses do lack chronology of events inspiring confidence as such further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary and drawn the attention of the Court to the postmortem report as well as other statements under Section 183 of the BNS. I find that the initial FIR was on the issue relating to injuries being seen at the time when the dead body was first seen. The deceased died in his room. There is an accusation regarding connection of the present petitioner with the wife of the deceased. 2 Charge has been framed very recently and witness action is about to commence. Having considered the stage of the case, at this point of time, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M)2508 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
