The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-payment of an electric connection to the submersible pump to the petitioner installed at Plot No. 264, Mouza – Bajrukh, Debogram. On behalf of the WBSEDCL it is submitted that there is an outstanding amount of Rs.4,27,247/- on account of the electricity connection provided to the subject premises. It is submitted that the electricity connection was in the name of the deceased father of the petitioner. In view of the categorical stand taken by the petitioner and the non-payment of the outstanding dues payable in respect of the subject 2 premises there is no question of granting any relief to the petitioner. 2. WPA/17023/2025 stands dismissed. 3. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to comply with all necessary formalities including payment of outstanding dues before seeking a separate electricity connection. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
