Heard Sri. Vivekananda S., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri. Sharath S. Gogi, learned counsel appearing for the respondent and have perused the material on record. 3. The petitioner is the accused. The respondent, the complainant. The complainant is before the concerned Court alleging offences punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 ('the Act' for short). The issue in the lis is not with regard to the merit of the matter. The complainant files an application under Section 143A of the Act seeking deposit of 20% amount as interim compensation. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:16136 CRL.P No. 422 of 2025 The said application stands partly allowed in the year 2021. The petition is preferred now in the year 2025. 4. The learned counsel projects several grievances, which would not mean that this Court would entertain a petition, order of which is 4 years old. The learned counsel at this juncture submits that, if a direction is issued for speedy disposal of the case, it would suffice. 5. With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands disposed. Ordered accordingly. Sd/- (M.NAGAPRASANNA) JUDGE SJK List No.: 1 Sl No.: 8
