It is the case of the petitioner that though there is direction given by Under Secretary, Home Prison and Disaster Management Department to the I.G. (Prison) vide Letter dated 19.01.2023 (Annexure-3), the petitioner has not been granted the benefit of 3rd Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) and nor his pension has been revised. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that if the petitioner files a detailed representation annexing all the documents, before the Inspector General (Prison), Jharkhand, Ranchi -respondent No.4, his case will be considered and if it is found that the petitioner is legally entitled for the benefit, the same will be granted to the petitioner including the revision of pension after grant of MACP. 4. Considering the submission of the parties, I direct the 2026:JHHC:225 2 petitioner to file a fresh representation within four weeks before the Inspector General (Prison), Jharkhand, Ranchi -respondent No.4. On receipt of the said representation, the case of the petitioner will be considered within six weeks and if it is necessary to place the case before any committee or any authority, the same should be placed during the said period. 5. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any benefit, the same will be granted within four weeks thereafter. 6. If any part of the claim of the petitioner is rejected, the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period. 7.
