The petitioners are aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not releasing the payments for the works i.e., providing Additional Infrastructure to ZPHS Kalikiri Girls vide Agreement No….2020-21, dated 28.07.2020. 2. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioners duly executed all the works and thereafter submitted final bills, which were duly endorsed by the competent authority. A statement detailing the works executed by the petitioners were prepared, and the progress of the work was recorded in the M-book. However, in spite of the completion of all procedural formalities, the payment towards the completed works has not been released till date. 3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Standing counsel appearing for respondent Nos.3 to 5, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for School Education and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for Finance Planning. 4. During the course of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that submits that the bills have been approved for clearance and that the Government has also released funds towards clearing the outstanding bills of the contractors. It is further submitted that additional funds are awaited and that, soon after release of the funds, the bills due and payable to the petitioner shall be cleared. 4 HN, J W.P.No.25680_2026 5. Considering the submissions, the concerned respondents are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioners as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
