JUSTICE GANESH RAM MEENA Order 24/07/2026 The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a challenge to the letter dated 12.06.2026 issued by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, whereby the candidature of the petitioner for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor (Paediatrics) pursuant to advertisement dated 11.12.2024 and corrigendum dated 01.01.2025 was rejected on the count that the petitioner does not possess requisite educational qualification of MD/DNB in paediatrics and she also does not possess the requisite [2026:RJ-JP:28613] (2 of 2) [CW-11960/2026] experience of junior and senior resident with the concerned subject after completing the requisite educational qualification. Considered the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner and so also the counsel for the respondents and also perused the material made available on record. As per the terms and conditions of the advertisement, the minimum requisite qualification of eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor (Paediatrics) is a degree of MD/DNB in paediatrics and the candidate must also have an experience of one year as Senior Resident in the same subject after completion of the degree of MD/DNB in paediatrics. The aforesaid qualification have been prescribed in the terms and conditions of the advertisement, in view of the provisions of the Rajasthan Medical Service (Collegiate Branch) Rules, 1962 and so also the regulation of National Medical Commission. Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to show that the petitioner possess the requisite qualifications as provided under the Rules or the advertisement. Since, the petitioner does not possess the requisite qualification as prescribed under the Rules and the advertisement, the Court finds no error in the rejection of the candidature of the petitioner by the respondent-RPSC. Hence, this writ petition being devoid of merit is hereby dismissed. Stay application as well as pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. (GANESH RAM MEENA),J YOGESH KUMAR/18
