Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing the matter at some length, made a limited prayer that since the respondents, without issuing any show cause notice to the petitioner as regards the change of the category of the electricity supply connection, have changed/altered the category and raised a demand, the petitioner may be permitted to make a representation to the respondents-Corporation regarding his grievances of change of the category of the electricity supply connection and demand of the charges according to the changed category. 2. Heard and considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. Taking into consideration the material facts of this case that no notice for change of category of the electricity supply [2026:RJ-JP:13311] (2 of 2) [CW-5578/2026] connection is said to have been issued to the petitioner by the respondents-Corporation, the Court feels that ends of justice would meet if the petitioner is allowed to make a representation to the respondents-authorities as regards his grievances, pertaining to change of the category of electricity supply connection and the demand of charges, as per the changed category. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the respondents-authorities within a period of twenty days’ from today. 5. In case the respondents-authorities receive any such representation from the petitioner within above given period of twenty days’, the same may be considered and decided by them after allowing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as early as possible by a reasoned and speaking order. 6. Taking into consideration the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the Court also directs the respondents not to take any coercive action against the petitioner, including the disconnection of the electricity supply connection, till disposal of the representation, if the same is submitted by the petitioner within above given time of twenty days’. 7.
