On 11.05.2026, proceedings were deferred, as learned counsel for the respondents had submitted that the matter was under active consideration of the competent authority. 2. Accordingly, Ms. Anshuja Tak, learned counsel for the respondents, has shared with us a copy of the order dated 20.05.2026, which reveals that, pursuant to a decision taken by the authorities, two bank guarantee amounting to Rs.8,89,447.50 each shall be released/refunded in favour of the contractor, along with the security deposit amount of Rs. 1,06,700/- after proper verification of records and in accordance with the applicable norms. A copy of the said order is taken on record and marked as “X”. She submits that the requisite amount, as indicated above, shall be released to the petitioner within eight weeks from today.
