Neutral Citation No. ( 2026:JHHC:1739 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B. A. No. 12113 of 2025 --- Ragini Bodra D/o Sande Bodra, resident of village Kuria, PO & PS Arki, District Khunti … … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand … … Opposite Party --- CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --- For the Petitioner : Mrs. Neha Bhardwaj, Advocate For the Opposite Party : A.P.P. --- 2/22.01.2026 Heard Ms. Neha Bhardwaj, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with S. T. No. 62 of 2021 arising out of Arki P.S. Case No. 76 of 2020 corresponding to G. R. No. 170 of 2021. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B. A. No. 3616 of 2021 vide order dated 07.06.2021. Renewing the prayer for bail of the petitioner, submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that out of 11 charge- sheeted witnesses, 4 witnesses have been examined so far and none of the witnesses have stated any incriminating fact against the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. It seems that on the confession of the petitioner and one Kanu Ram Bodra, dead bodies of missing boys were recovered. There appears to be circumstances indicating the involvement of the petitioner in commission of the murder. Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to admit the petitioner on bail and the same stands rejected once again. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J) R. Shekhar Cp 3 Uploaded on 27/01/2026
