JUSTICE D K SINGH) The present intra Court appeal has been filed under Section 4 of the High Court of Karnataka Act, 1961 impugning the judgment and order dated 19.11.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge in WP.No.19758/2023. 2. The parties have settled their dispute outside the Court during the pendency of the present writ appeal and for which they have filed joint memo setting out terms of the settlement, which read as hereunder: "The respondent corporation to reinstate the appellant into service to the post held by him at the time of dismissal with continuity of service without back wages and without consequential benefits from the date of dismissal i.e., 15.04.2021 till 01.06.2026. The continuity of service for this period will be counted only for the purpose of terminal benefits. The appellant is not entitled to claim any financial benefits for the period from 15.04.2021 to 01.06.2026 except for terminal benefits. The salary if any paid during this period shall not be recovered. The appellant is required to report to duty on - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23924-DB WA No. 1775 of 2024 or before 01.06.2026 along with medical fitness certificate, effective Driving License and conductors License and such other documents as specified by the department concerned. The parties to the proceedings have agreed for the terms stated above." 3. Besides the parties, the learned counsels have also signed the memo of settlement. Since the parties have settled their dispute amicably outside the Court in terms of the joint memo, we dispose of the writ appeal in terms of the settlement arrived between the parties as mentioned above.
