The petitioner is an accused in connection with S. T. No. 145 of 2025 arising out of Gumla P.S. Case No. 91 of 2025. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 6565 of 2025 vide order dated 07.08.2025. Renewing the prayer for bail, submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody for more than 10 months. He has further been submitted that 3 witnesses have been examined by the prosecution till date, but none of the witnesses have stated about any material aspect which would connect the petitioner with the commission of the murder. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. In the order dated 07.08.2025 passed in B. A. No. 6565 of 2025, certain circumstantial evidences were noted wherein the petitioner was in regular conversation with the deceased, who happens to be the daughter of the informant. It appears as per the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the trial is going on and 3 witnesses have been examined so far and there is no changed circumstances which would implore this court to reconsider the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
