1. Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following relief (s) :-

“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to accommodate the petitioner as per the letter datead 17.09.2024 (Annexure P/1). 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to adjust the services of the petitioner at High School Chhedmuda (Lundra) Ambikapur District- Sarguja for English subject. 10.3 Any other writ or writs, direction or directions which the Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be passed. ”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was earlier engaged as Guest Teacher (English), however, subsequently he was discontinued from the year 2021. He submits that some of the similarly placed teachers have been subsequently accommodated in other schools of other districts. Considering the policy decision taken by concerned authority the District Education Officer has forwarded letter mentioning the name of Guests Teacher as mentioned therein on 17.09.2024 in the form of proposal for adjusting the persons/Guest Teacher (discontinued) to be accommodated in other Districts and proposal forwarded is pending till date.
3. Learned State counsel submits that he may be granted short time to seek instructions as to whether decision has been taken on the proposal forwarded by District Education Officer vide letter dated 17.09.2024 or not.
4. Considering the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, the grievances raised in this writ petition with respect to not taking any decision on the proposal forwarded by District Education Officer vide letter dated 17.09.2024 to respondent
3 no. 2 /Director Public Instructions. In the considered opinion of this Court instead of keeping this petition pending, it will be in the interest of both the respective parties, if the present petition is disposed of directing respondent no. 2 to consider and take decision on the proposal forwarded by the District Education Officer, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of two months from the date of receipt of the Order.
