None appeared on behalf of the petitioner even when the matter was called out twice at 1:15 p.m. 2. Perused the record. 3. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs: : 10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for entire records pertaining to the case of petitioner for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court. 10.2 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No.3 to recruit the petitioner and reject the objection stated by the respondent No.4, in the interest of justice. 10.3 Any other relief, which may be deemed, fit by this Hon'ble Court just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be provided in favour of the petitioner. 4. The essential facts of the case are that the respondent No.4 issued an advertisement dated 30.5.2022 for the posts of Dresser Grade-I and II. The petitioner applied for the post of Dresser Grade-I, submitting her application to the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Dhamtari (CG). However, respondent No.474 subsequently rejected the petitioner’s candidature on the ground that she was not registered with 3 the Employment Exchange Office of District Dhamtari. This rejection was made without affording a fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Hence this petition. 5. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner may no longer be interested in pursuing this case, as she has been appointed as Dresser Grade-I in the Primary Health Centre, Khorpa, Development Block Abhanpur, vide order dated 29.2.2024 issued by the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Raipur (CG). While the petitioner’s grievance pertained to an appointment for the same post in District Dhamtari, learned counsel for the State submits that since the petitioner has secured employment in the same capacity at the Primary Health Centre, Khorpa, Development Block, Abhanpur, the present petition has rendered itself infructuous. He further submits that the specific post originally claimed by the petitioner has since been filled and no other vacancies remain; therefore, no order is required to be passed on merits. 6. Considering the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the State and the fact that the petitioner has already secured employment for the same post at the Primary Health Centre, Khorpa, Development Block, Abhanpur, this Court, without entering into the merits of the case, deems it appropriate to dispose of this petition as the same has become infructuous.
