JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23453 WP No. 15 of 2026 ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner seek the following reliefs; “a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent No.1 to 3 appoint the Petitioner for the post of Principal by extending the benefit of service weightage to the Petitioner by considering the service rendered by the Petitioner from 01.06.2008 to 31.03.2011 as per the order dated Order dated 28.02.2013 In W.A No.5127/2012 vide Annexure-D. b) Issue such other direction which the Hon'ble Court deems fit under the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for respondent Nos.1, 2, 4, 5, learned counsel for respondent No.3 and perused the material on record. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representations dated 27.10.2025, 27.10.2025 at Annexures – H and J respectively submitted to the respondents praying to grant the benefit of service weightage by considering the service rendered by him from 01.06.2008 to 31.03.2011, has not been considered so far by respondents nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of present petition. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23453 WP No. 15 of 2026 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, the respondents would consider and pass necessary order on the said representation. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the concerned respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioners and consider his representations dated 27.10.2025, 27.10.2025 at Annexures – H and J respectively bearing in mind the order passed by the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.5127/2012 and connected matters dated 28.02.2013 and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
