GP FOR SOCIAL WELFARE (AP) 3 The Court made the following Order:- The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to release an amount of Rs.14,72,000/- withheld by the respondents. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner had completed the work relating to providing additional classrooms shed, water supply and electrification to the mini Gurukulam in Narapareddykunta at Nerawadametta of Panyam Mandal. The work was executed in the year 2020-21 and the final bills were also submitted. The bills were approved; however, the payment could not be released for want of funds. It is further submitted that the bills were uploaded in the CFMS portal in the year 2021 for release of the funds. However, due to lack of funds, the amount could not be released. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader sought instructions when the matter was taken up for hearing on 25.01.2024. Thereafter, the matter was adjourned on several occasions for instructions from the respondents. 4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents admits that the work was entrusted for an amount of Rs.16,00,000/- and that the petitioner submitted a bill for an amount of Rs.14,72,000/-. However, after deductions, an amount of Rs.14,29,055/- is due to the petitioner and the same shall be paid soon after release of the funds. 4 5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to release the admitted due amount of Rs.14,29,055/- to the petitioner within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
