This application has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.287 of 2025, “State vs. Jitendra Singh and Another”, pending before the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar under Sections 115(2), 117(2), 351(2) and Section 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Both the applicants are present through video conferencing. They are identified by Mr. Shariq Khurshid, Advocate.

The respondent no.2-Dharampal Singh and the respondent no.3-Kuldeep Singh are present through video conferencing. They are identified by Mr. Prince Chauhan, Advocate.

The Amendment Application is allowed. Applicants have sought two days’ time to file an amended memo of parties. Time is granted.

Both, the applicants and the private respondents submitted that they have settled their differences. They have filed a Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2025) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. The private respondents have requested to quash the entire proceedings of the said Criminal Case No.287 of 2025.

Mrs. Sweta Badola Dobhal, Brief Holder has not opposed the said request.

Consequently, the present Application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.287 of 2025, “State vs. Jitendra Singh and Another”, pending before the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar, are hereby quashed. ___________________ ALOK KUMAR VERMA, J.
