Today, learned counsel for the respondent would submit that due to a pre-scheduled meeting, respondent could not appear before this Court, therefore, he has moved an application seeking exemption from personal appearance for today. He further submits that the respondent will appear in person on the next date fixed by this Court. He next submits that the direction issued by this Court in the writ petition, upon consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner, has been complied with, as the said representation has been rejected vide order dated 11.02.2026. 3. On due consideration of submission of counsel for the respondent and reasons assigned in the application, I.A. No.01/2025 is allowed. Personal presence of the respondent is exempted. 4. Considering the fact that the order of contempt has been complied with, I am of the view that no useful purpose would be served by keeping this contempt petition pending further.
