It appears from the status report that petitioner expired during the year 2021-2022 due to COVID pandemic. Police Authority, after due enquiry, could not collect the death certificate of the petitioner. However, they have enquired with the family members and relatives of the deceased and confirmed the death of the deceased. 2. This instant Criminal Revision Case has been preferred against the order of conviction recorded by learned trial Court below against the petitioner under Section 139 of the N.I. Act. Since the petitioner had expired, nothing remains for this Court to pass any order. 3. Accordingly, this criminal revision case is dismissed as abated. The report filed by the concerned Sub Inspector of Police is taken on record.
