After arguing for a while, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners when confronted with the maintainability of the petition, seeks withdrawal of the instant petition. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners makes an innocuous prayer that he intends to file a representation before the appropriate authority and prays that the competent authority be directed to consider and decide the said representation in accordance with the applicable rules and law. 02. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn on the ground of non-maintainability.
