For the Petitioner : Mr. Yasir Arafat, Advocate For the State : Mr. Rajesh Kumar, APP ------ Order No.2 / Dated : 26.02.2026. Heard both the sides. The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody in connection with Amrapara (Pakur) P.S. Case No. 23 of 2021 for the offence registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 120B, 323, 307, 354B, 379, 380, 436, 456, 500, 506, 509, 452 of the IPC has prayed for regular bail. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that all the allegations are general and omnibus in nature and no overt act has been attributed to the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. for the State while opposing the prayer for bail has submitted that the petitioner was the main accused in the present case and in order to grab the property of the informant, he incited the villagers by spreading false rumours against the informant which resulted in the incidence in which the informant and his daughter were assaulted, paraded naked and his house was ransacked and damaged. Petitioner is named in the FIR and is the main accused. Considering the nature of allegation and gravity of offence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, is hereby, rejected.
