GP FOR HOUSING The Court made the following: ORAL ORDER: Heard Sri P. Nanilu Naidu, learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner, Smt. Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance & Planning and Smt. Sireesha Rani Vallabhaneni, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities. 2. Smt. Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance & Planning, has submitted the Written Instructions furnished by the 3 Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department, dated 07.04.2026. Copy of it is supplied to the Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the same is taken on record. 3. The Written Instructions would indicate that the General Budget Guidelines for the year 2026 - 2027 are under process and that the amount would be paid after issuance of the Guidelines. 4. This Court notices that the amount claimed by the Writ Petitioner is meager, and it would be unreasonable to make the Petitioner wait until the guidelines are drawn, particularly when the Government has not stated any time within which such Guidelines would be drawn. 5. The facts would indicate that there is no dispute with regard to the claim made by the Writ Petitioner. 6. In this view of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to allow this Writ Petition with a direction to all the Respondents, including Respondent No.3, to complete the entire Administrative process, both inter-departmental and intra-departmental, by way of mutual co-operation and coordination, within a period of one (01) week from the date of uploading of the Order on the website of this Court, and to transfer the amount to the bank account of the Writ Petitioner within one (01) week thereafter. 7. The Writ Petitioner is directed to submit the bank account details to the Competent Authority within one (01) week from today for effective compliance. 8. With these observations and directions, the Writ Petition is allowed. No order as to costs. 9.
