This misc. bail application under Section 483 B.N.S.S. has been filed by the petitioner Wasim Khan S/o Shri Ajeej Khan, aged about 33 years in connection with the FIR bearing No.155/2025 dated 16.11.2025 registered at Police Station Arain District Ajmer for the offences punishable under Sections 5, 6, 8, 9 of the Rajasthan Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter and Regulation of Temporary Migration of Export) Act 1995 and under Section 11(1)(d), 11(1)(f) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case, and is behind the bars since 07.01.2026. Learned counsel further submitted that no recovery is required to be made from the [2026:RJ-JP:11933] (2 of 2) [CRLMB-3533/2026] petitioner. In view thereof, learned counsel prayed that the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. 4. Learned Public Prosecutor strongly opposed the bail application. 5. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, there are no criminal antecedents of the petitioner and taking into account that the petitioner is behind the bars since long and trial of the case will take considerable time, this Court is inclined to exercise its power under Section 483 B.N.S.S. and deems it just and proper to enlarge the accused-petitioner on bail. 6. Accordingly, the bail application filed under Section 483 B.N.S.S. is allowed and it is directed that accused-petitioner Wasim Khan S/o Shri Ajeej Khan shall be released on bail, provided he executes a personal bond in a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sound and solvent sureties of Rs.50,000/- each to the satisfaction of learned trial Court for his appearance before that Court on each and every date of hearing and whenever called upon to do so, till the completion of the trial. The petitioner is further directed not to take undue advantage or misuse of liberty granted by this Court.
