JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21818 WP No. 1449 of 2026 ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioners have sought for the following reliefs: “i) Issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, to direct the 5th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 20-09-2021 vide Annexure-D made by the 2nd petitioner and the representation dated 11-07-2023 vide Annexure-G made by the 1st petitioner to the 4th respondent, ii) Consequently direct the respondent No.6 to take necessary action on the application submitted by the 1st petitioner dated 11.11.2021 vide Annexure-H for providing compassionate appointment to the 3rd petitioner and submit the proposal to the competent authorities of the respondents for approval of said appointment in terms of the circular issued by the 2nd respondent dated 24.07.2023 vide Annexure-M and iii) Consequently issue a writ of directing the respondents consider the case of the 3rd petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds in a suitable post and approve the appointment of the 3rd petitioner with Grant-in-Aid and extend all benefits flowing thereof, or in the alternatively respondent No.1 to 5 to take necessary courses of action to appoint the 3rd petitioner on compassionate ground in any of the vacant post available in the State Aided Educational Institution and extend all benefits flowing thereof in the interest of justice and equity. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21818 WP No. 1449 of 2026 iv) Grant such other reliefs as may be deems to be fit to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AGA for the respondents and perused the material on record. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioners that their representations dated 20.09.2021 at Annexure - D and dated 11.07.2023 at Annexure - G submitted to the respondents has not been considered so far by them nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioners are before this Court by way of the present petition. 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, they would consider and pass necessary order on the said representation. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioners and consider their representations dated 20.09.2021 at Annexure - D and dated 11.07.2023 at Annexure - G and pass appropriate order / take appropriate - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21818 WP No. 1449 of 2026 decision in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
