Ms. No. 32 Animal Husbandry Dairy Development and Fisheries Department dated.

direct the Respondent No.7 not to undertake any aquaculture activities without obtaining the requisite permissions as mandated under G.O.Ms.No.7, dated 16.03.2023, issued by the Department of Fisheries, and in accordance with the provisions of the AP SADA Act,2020 and to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2026 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pleased to stay the operation of illegal excavation of fish tank and conduct of aquaculture activities by Respondent No.7 pending disposal of the above writ petition and to pass Counsel for the Petitioner:

1. The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in permitting respondent No.7 to convert the agricultural land into shrimp ponds. 2. Respondent No.7 has filed a counter-affidavit stating that the subject property has now been identified as an aqua zone and that the competent authority has granted permission to respondent No.7 for raising a fresh water aquaculture farm. The licence dated 25.06.2026 issued in favour of respondent No.7 has also been placed on record. 3. Considering the submissions made and the fact that respondent No.7 is conducting aquaculture under a valid licence issued by the competent authority, no further orders are required in the present writ petition. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
