Learned Senior Counsel Sri.Dhananjaya Joshi appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed a suit in O.S.No.205/2001 seeking a declaration that the plaintiffs have perfected their title by way of adverse possession in respect of the suit schedule property and for a permanent injunction restraining the defendants from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the schedule property and not to dispossess the plaintiffs from the schedule property except under due process of law, etc. The suit was dismissed by the trial Court. However, the Appellate Court in R.A.No.212/2006 allowed the appeal and decreed the suit while setting aside the judgment and decree passed by the trial Court and it was declared that the plaintiffs are the title holders of the suit schedule property by law of adverse possession and that the plaintiffs are entitled to a perpetual injunction against the defendants. The defendants were perpetually restrained from causing interference in the possession and enjoyment of the plaintiffs in respect of the suit schedule property. It is pointed out that the schedule in the decree shows that the plaintiffs are the title holders of 22 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12538 WP No. 4276 of 2026 guntas of land in Survey No.15 of Kadugodi Village, Bidarahalli Hobli, Bangalore East Taluk, along with the boundaries therein. 3. Learned Senior Counsel submits that the plaintiffs have given a representation to the respondent authorities to enter the names of the plaintiffs in the suit in the revenue records in terms of the decree passed by the Civil Court. 4. However, learned High Court Government Pleader submits that the RTC produced by the petitioner at Annexure-C shows that the land is within the Bangalore East Taluk and the representations given by the petitioner is to the Tahsildar Bangalore South Taluk, Assistant Commissioner, Bangalore South Sub-Division and the Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District. Learned High Court Government Pleader therefore submits that the petitioner may be directed to give a proper representation to the Tahsildar, Bangalore East Taluk and a direction may be issued to the said Tahsildar to consider the application. 5. Accepting the submission made by the learned High Court Government Pleader, the writ petition stands disposed of, - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12538 WP No. 4276 of 2026 reserving liberty to the petitioner to give a proper representation to the Tahsildar, Bangalore East Taluk, for entering their names in the revenue records in terms of the decree passed by the court. 6. As and when such an application is given to the Tahsildar, Bangalore East Taluk, the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the names of the plaintiffs in O.S.No.205/2001 in the revenue records in terms of the decree passed by the Court, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date when which the application would be filed before the Tahsildar.
