The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- <…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 4th respondent police in refusing to receive the Petitioner's complaint dated 18.12.2025 and in failing to register FIR despite disclosure of clear cognizable offences as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the. 4th respondent police to forthwith receive the Petitioner's complaint, register an FIR, conduct investigation in accordance with law by considering the CCTV footage and other material evidence and take appropriate action against the accused persons, further direct the respondent police to provide necessary and effective police protection to the Petitioner and her husband, who are senior citizens, to safeguard their life, liberty and peaceful residence in their self- owned house at Chilakaluripet, and also direct the respondent police to take steps for recovery of the stolen original property documents, bank papers and other valuable documents belonging to the Petitioner and her husband, and pass ….=
2. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Mr. Maganti Sai Krishna, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the complaint of the Petitioner dated 18.12.2025 was not considered by the respondent police, and neither was an FIR registered nor any investigation conducted. 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that a PGRS complaint was submitted by the Petitioner on 01.12.2025.
In that regard, the Respondent Police attempted to conduct a

preliminary enquiry, but the Petitioner and her husband did not cooperate with the Respondent Police. 5. Be that as it may, the grievance of the Petitioner is that the complaint dated 18.12.2025 has not been considered. Even as per the written instructions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, there is no reference to the consideration of the complaint dated 18.12.2025 submitted by the Petitioner. 6. Considering the above submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Respondent No.4 to consider the representation dated 18.12.2025 submitted by the Petitioner, in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of this order. In this regard, the Petitioner shall cooperate with Respondent No.4 in the consideration of the said representation. 7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
