Applicant-appellant has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 12 years and to pay a fine of Rs.25,000/- [Rupees Twenty Five Thousand] for the commission of offence punishable under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code and in default of payment of fine, applicant-appellant shall have to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of six months, in Sessions Trial [Case Registration] No.26 of 2024, arising out of FIR No.61 of 2024 dated 19.05.2024, registered at Police Station Karsog, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, and is serving his sentence in District Jail.

This application has been filed against conviction, with delay of 10 days in filing the appeal.

Considering the averments made in the application and submissions made by learned counsel appearing for the applicant-appellant, delay in filing appeal against conviction, is condoned.
