This application for bail of the petitioner, namely, Smt. Mainu Saikia, who was arrested on the basis of NBWA issued pursuant to her conviction in N.I. Case No. 43/2019, whereby she was sentenced to undergo Simple Imprisonment for 3 (three) months and to pay an amount of Rs. 53,000/- (Rupees Fifty Three Thousand) only as compensation to the complainant, and in default thereof, to undergo Simple Imprisonment for another 3 (three) months. In view of the order passed in Crl. Rev. No. 112/2026, the prayer for bail is allowed on the same condition as mentioned in the said order passed today, i.e., the deposit of Rs. 53,000/- by the petitioner within a period of 7 (seven) days before the learned JMFC, Sonitpur at Tezpur.
