Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to serve copies of the petition along with annexures on the learned High Court Government Pleader. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner's father Late Giriyappa, son of Thirumale Gowda purchased 1 acre 19 guntas of land in Survey No.13/4 of Puttanpalya Village, Amruthur Hobli, Kunigal Taluk, Tumkur District under a registered sale deed dated 22.03.1969 and thereafter, his name was entered in the revenue records in terms of MR No.63/1975-76. The petitioner has given a representation at Annexure - A to the Tahsildar, Kunigal Taluk to enter the name of the petitioner in the RTC on the strength of succession. But, the Tahsildar has not passed any order on the representation given by the petitioner. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20050 WP No. 11072 of 2026 3. However, to a pointed question put to learned counsel for petitioner as to where is the latest RTC, learned counsel submits that the RTC is now standing in the name of some other person. 4. If that is the admitted fact, then the representation given by the petitioner cannot be considered by the Tahsildar. If the name of some other person is reflected in the RTC, then the petitioner will have to raise a challenge to the said entry and get the same removed while restoring the name of the petitioner's father in the RTC in a manner known to law. Thereafter, the question of considering the representation of the petitioner for entry of his name on the basis of succession would arise. 5.
