The petitioner had filed a Writ Petition in W.P.Crl.No.1103/2025 before this Court seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to receive and process the application of the petitioner for online passport and process the passport of the petitioner. Further, it is seen that the petitioner is an accused who is facing trial in C.C.No.13 of 2015, pending before the Special Judge (TNPID) Court, Coimbatore. In the said writ petition, this Court vide order dated 16.10.2025, had considered the petitioner’s undertaking of depositing a sum of Rs.71,18,446/- and granted time for a period of two months to deposit the same. Despite six months has been passed from the date of the order, so far the petitioner had not deposited the said amount. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the meanwhile the petitioner’s passport and VISA got expired and he was constrained to stay back in Malaysia. He further submitted that even now, the petitioner is ready to deposit the said sum of Rs.71,18,446/-. 4. Considering the submissions made, this Court grants further time to the petitioner to deposit the sum of Rs.71,18,446/-, to be deposited within a period of one week. On such deposit being made by the petitioner, the trial Court shall not insist upon the petitioner’s personal appearance in the proceedings in C.C.No.13/2025, pending on its file. It is made clear that, carrying the aforesaid amount by the petitioner or his representative, shall not be doubted or withheld, as this amount has to be deposited in the case for the benefit of the depositors. 6.
