1. The instant petition has been preferred with the prayer to quash the proceedings arising out of the impugned FIR No.119/2020, registered with the Police Station Mahila Thana, District Jaipur (West) for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 498A, 406, 354, 354A, 354C, 354D, 506, 384 and 120B IPC.
2. At the outset, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant-respondent submits that during pendency of the trial, the parties have settled their dispute and on the basis of the same, their marriage has been dissolved by the Family Court by passing a decree of divorce by mutual consent under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. Counsel further submits that
[2026:RJ-JP:28286] (2 of 2) [CRLMP-8476/2021] even after trial, the petitioner has been acquitted from all the charges by the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Communal Riots Cases, Jaipur Metropolitan-II vide judgment dated 11.03.2025. Counsel submits that under the changed circumstances, the instant criminal misc. petition has become infructuous.
3. Considering the above factual aspect of the matter, the instant criminal misc. petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. The stay application and all pending application, if any, also stand dismissed.
