The petitioner has filed this petition praying for following relief:- “It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and quash impugned First Information Report bearing FIR, bearing crime no. 156/2024 in Police Station, Baikunthpur, District-Koriya, offence under section 7 (1) C.G. Gambling Prohibition Act, 2022 and charge sheet bearing Final Report no. 130/2024 has been submitted by the Police Station Baikunthpur, District Koriya, before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Baikunthpur, District Koriya, (C.G.), on 01.06.2024, against the petitioner. against the petitioner, with entire criminal proceedings initiated in pursuance to impugned FIR, in the interest of justice.” 4. From perusal of the present petition, it transpires that the same has been reported to be suffering from various defects / defaults as pointed out by the Registry of this Court. Furthermore, though the petition was filed on 22.12.2025 and the notice was served on the same day to the Office of Advocate General, the counsel for the petitioner did not care to cure the defects in the petition. Also, the period for removing the defaults has already been expired as per High Court Rules. 5. In view of the same, the petition is dismissed, with liberty to file petition afresh with appropriate prayer and pleadings, subject to depositing a sum of Rs.5,000/- as cost by the counsel for the petitioner in the Registry of this Court within a period of one week 3 from today, and the same shall be transmitted to the Government Specialized Adoption Agency Bemetara (C.G.), for wasting the precious time of this Court. 6. Certified copy of the documents annexed in the petition, if any, may be returned back to the counsel for the petitioner after obtaining the photocopy of the same, subject to deposit of the fine amount.
