JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPMAN Order 21/07/2026 At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that petitioners are in confinement since 2023 and on account of filing of supplementary charge-sheet against the co-accused persons, a De novo trial is being conducted. It is submitted that an [2026:RJ-JP:27911] (2 of 2) [CRLMB-4884/2026] application filed by the petitioners to separate the trial has already been rejected by the learned trial Court. In these circumstances, petitioners may be allowed to withdraw these bail applications and trial Court may be directed to expedite the trial looking to the period of incarceration. In view of above, these criminal misc. bail applications are dismissed as withdrawn. Looking to the period of incarceration, learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conduct the proceedings on day- to-day basis keeping in mind the provisions of Section 346 BNSS (Corresponding to Section 309 of Cr.P.C.) and shall make all endeavors to conclude the trial on or before 31.01.2027.
