JUSTICE V SRISHANANDA ORAL ORDER 1. Memo filed reporting the payment of ₹.50,000/- as per the order of this Court dated yesterday towards fine amount. 2. Another memo filed on behalf of the petitioner. Memo reads as under :- "MEMO FOR SETTLEMENT The petitioner humbly submits as follows: It is submitted that the petitioner was convicted to pay a compensation of Rs.39,00,000/- to the Respondent by the trial Court, the Petitioner has deposited a sum of Rs.11,73,000/- towards the aforesaid compensation amount in compliance of the order of this Hon'ble Court. During the pendency of the aforesaid case the parties have settled the matter amicably, accordingly, the Petitioner has agreed to pay the Compensation amount of Rs.39,00,000/- and the Respondent is permitted to withdraw the amount deposited in the trial Court, further, the Petitioner has transferred a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- on 27.04.2026 vide it receipt No.PKYKAB4D4772 and remaining amount of - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23780 CRL.RP No. 1318 of 2022 Rs.24,27,000/- will be paid equally in 3 months of instalments within 20.08.2026. Wherefore, the same may be taken on record as full and final settlement in the above case and this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass necessary orders in accordance of law to meet the ends of justice". 3. Learned counsel for the respondent has endorsed no objection on the said memo. 4. Placing the memo on record, petition stands disposed of. 5. Amount in deposit is ordered to be withdrawn by the complainant, under due identification. 6. It is made clear that if the balance amount of compensation as agreed in the memo filed by the revision petitioner is not paid, petitioner shall undergo imprisonment as ordered by trial Magistrate confirmed by the First Appellate Court.
