Heard Mr. N. Hassan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P.S. Lahakar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for the State respondent. 2. This is an application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioners, namely, (i) Sri Nihar Jyoti Bordoloi and (ii) Smti. Sita Konwar @ Sitarani Konwar who are apprehending their arrest in connection with Morigaon P.S. Case No. 281/2025 under Sections 69/318(4)/115(2)/351(2)/3(5) of BNS, 2023. 3. As per the FIR the petitioner had love affair with the victim since the last 6 months and in course of which they developed physical relationship and subsequently the petitioner no. 1 had taken away the victim on 27.11.2025 to his house by promising to marry her. On the next date the wife of the petitioner i.e. the petitioner no. 2 went to the house of the petitioner and humiliated the victim mentally and physically and threatened that the petitioner no. 1 would never marry the victim. 4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioner no. 1 & 2 are the husband and wife and the allegation as leveled in the FIR are wholly concocted. Pursuant to interim protection granted to these petitioners, the petitioners appeared before the I/O and their statement already been recorded. 5. Having regard to the nature of the allegation and the fact that their statement of the petitioners have been recorded, custodial integration of the

The interim order dated 18.12.2025 is hereby made absolute under the condition that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation. 8. The anticipatory bail application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
