JUSTICE MRIDUL KUMAR KALITA ORDER 06.02.2026 Heard Mr. Michael Lalhriatrenga Pachuau, learned counsel for the applicants. Also heard Mr. Lalremtluanga, learned counsel for the respondent Insurance Company. 2. This Interlocutory Application under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, has been filed by the applicants/claimants in connection with Page No.# 3/4 the connected MAC App. No. 16/2025, praying for a direction to the Registry to disburse 50% of the awarded amount, which was deposited by the Insurance Company, in pursuance of the direction of this Court before the Registry of this Court on 23.01.2026. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that as a condition for stay of execution of the impugned judgment and award, the Insurance Company was directed to deposit 50% of the awarded amount, which has been deposited accordingly. He submits that the present applicants/claimants may be allowed to receive 50% of the awarded amount deposited by the respondent Insurance Company. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent Insurance Company has no objection to the prayer made by the applicants. 5. Hence, the same is allowed. 6. The Registry of this Court is directed to disburse 50% of the awarded amount deposited by the Insurance Company, amounting to Rs. 37,56,718/- (Rupees Thirty Seven Lakhs Fifty Six Thousand Seven Hundred Eighteen only), to the applicants/claimants, after due/proper verification. 7.
