This bail application has been filed on behalf of Nandani Samant @ Rajnandani Samant who is in custody since 21.07.2025 in connection with Chanho P.S. Case No. 117 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 338, 336(3) and 318(4) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 25(1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi As per the F.I.R., this petitioner along with one co-accused person Sohail Khan were apprehended when a black creta car bearing Registration No. JH10DB-0184 was searched in which a country made pistol with four live cartridges were seized, It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that she is in custody since 21.07.2025 and had no knowledge about the arms being carried in the vehicle and that she has no criminal antecedent Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
