Ramakoteswara Rao, learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner, Sri M. Srinu Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Ms. D. Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance & Planning and Sri P. Vengala Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Kurnool Municipal Corporation. 2. Sri P. Vengala Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Kurnool Municipal Corporation, has submitted the Written Instructions furnished by the Commissioner, Kurnool Municipal Corporation dated 22.03.2026. Copy of it is supplied to the Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the same is taken on record. 3. The Written Instructions would indicate that the total amount due to the Writ Petitioner is Rs.2,10,030/-. Sri P. Vengala Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Kurnool Municipal Corporation, would submit that the Writ Petitioner has made a wrong claim of Rs.3,50,000/- as EMD. Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner, on instructions, would admit that the Respondents are due to pay an amount of Rs.2,10,030/-, which is the EMD. 3 4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to allow this Writ Petition, with a direction to all the Respondents to return the EMD amount of Rs.2,10,030/- to the Writ Petitioner and to complete the entire administrative process, both inter-departmental and intra-departmental, by way of mutual cooperation and coordination, within a period of two (2) weeks from today and transfer the due amount to the bank account of the Writ Petitioner within one (1) week thereafter. 5. Writ Petitioner is directed to submit the bank account details to the Competent Authority within one (1) week from today for effective compliance. 6. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No order as to costs. 7.
