The present writ petition which was filed on 26.02.2025 was never circulated by the learned counsel for the petitioner. The present petition was listed for the first time before this Court on 07.09.2026, however, on that day, nobody appeared on behalf of the petitioner twice when the matter was called out. Hence, to grant one more opportunity to the petitioner, the writ petition was kept today. Even today, when the matter is called out, nobody appears for the petitioner. 2. A perusal of the present petition reveals that the petitioner has approached this Court seeking directions to the respondent police Authority to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter and to file an appropriate charge-sheet under the relevant provisions of law. The present petition further prays for ordering an independent investigation by a Special Investigation Team to ensure fairness and accountability. However, the fact remains that the 2026:BHC-NAG:12638-DB (2) 101.wp.702.2026 FIR in the present matter was registered on 22.03.2024. The aforesaid FIR is on record at Page No.26. The respondent police Authority after conducting the investigation in the matter has filed charge-sheet on 09.12.2024 bearing charge- sheet No.179/2024. The copy of the aforesaid charge-sheet is on record at Page No.16 (Annexture-B). On the basis of the aforesaid charge-sheet, criminal case was registered before the learned trial Court and it is after more than one and half years now, the present petition is listed before this Court praying for direction to conduct the investigation and file the charge-sheet. By passage of time the challenge in the present writ petition have been rendered infructuous and accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. (RAJ D.
