JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned counsels for the respondents including the learned High Court Government Pleader submit they have received copies of the writ petition. 2. The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Harohalli Taluk, Bangalore South District to enter the name of the petitioner's father in the computerized RTC and thereafter enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records so as to enable the petitioner to seek compensation at the hands of respondent No.7-Special Land Acquisition Officer, KIADB, who have acquired the land in question. 3. Learned counsel for respondent No.7 submits that initially, a Notification for acquisition was issued showing that there was 7 acres 4 guntas in Sy. No.105/ 8 of Cheelur village, Maralwadi Hobli, Harohalli Taluk. However, since it was found that only 1 acre 4 guntas were contained in Sy.No.105/8, another Notification was - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9626 WP No. 4166 of 2026 issued correcting the extent of the land. Further, since there was dispute amongst the family members of the petitioner and a suit is pending consideration on the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge and JMFC at Kanakapura, respondent No.7 has deposited the award amount before the same Court. 4. In the admitted facts and circumstances of this case, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Kanakpura to disburse the compensation in terms of the declaration that would be made by the Court as to who is entitled to receive the compensation. There is no need for respondent No.4-Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner or the petitioner's father in the revenue records for the reasons stated herein above.
