JUSTICE REKHA BORANA Order 15/07/2026 1. The present writ petition has been filed aggrieved of charge- sheet dated 25.06.2025. 2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the charge as levelled against the petitioner is that he issued certain quarry licenses in violation of notification dated 09.09.2013 issued by the Government of India whereas the said notification was never served on him and he was not even aware of the same. 3. This Court is of the clear opinion that the argument as raised by Counsel for the petitioner is on the merit of the charge and this [2026:RJ-JP:26855] (2 of 2) [CW-11743/2026] Court, in writ jurisdiction, is not within its domain to examine the merit and veracity of the charge as levelled against an employee as that would require appreciation of evidence. That definitely is within the domain of the Inquiry Officer. 4. No other ground has been raised by Counsel for the petitioner. 5. No case for interference is made out and the writ petition is hence, dismissed. 6. Stay petition and pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of. (REKHA BORANA),J 11/RAHUL
