The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record. 2. In spite of service, there is no representation on behalf of the school authorities. 3. The petitioner is aggrieved that the overdrawn amount of Rs. 87,005/-, which had already been deposited by him, was deducted on a second occasion at the time of his retirement. 4. The writ petition filed by the petitioner was allowed on February 28, 2020 directing the authorities to release the afore-stated amount along with interest at the rate of 8 percent per annum. It appears that the amount has not yet been released, thought the petitioner had never approached the concerned authority at the material point of time. His representations of April 23, 2025 and November 21, 2025 were not considered and are still pending. 5. In view of the afore-stated submissions, I direct the 2 respondent no. 4 to immediately consider the representations of the petitioner and dispose of the same in due deference to the order of this Hon’ble Court dated February 28, 2020 passed in WP 2079 (W) of 2020 (Saifuddin Ahamed vs. State of West Bengal and others). Let the consideration be made by May 31, 2026. If after consideration the petitioner is found eligible, the disbursal be made by June 15, 2026. 6. With these afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 8.
