CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 4562 of 2024 The Court made the following Order:
Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein, seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.101 of 2024 of Bandlamotu Police Station, Palnadu District.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent- State on written instructions submits that the police referred the FIR in Crime No.101 of 2024 of Bandlamotu Police Station, Palnadu District as “Civil in Nature” vide C.No.733/Ref/SDPO- NRT/2025 dated 31.12.2025 issued by the concerned authority. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners also acceded to the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. 4. Copy of C.No.733/Ref/SDPO-NRT/2025 dated 31.12.2025 issued by the concerned authority is made part of the record. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed, as the main criminal case itself was referred as “Civil in Nature”. However, it is
