This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused petitioner, namely, Prem Kumar Biswas praying for grant of bail in connection with Pragjyotishpur P.S. Case No. 157/2025, under Section 87 Page No.# 2/2 of BNS, 2023. The accused person was arrested on 23.11.2025. 3. The FIR alleges that the informant’s daughter, aged 17 years, ran away with the accused, who is also their neighbour. There is a love affair between them. As per the order of learned trial Court, as well as forwarding report, the girl has been recovered and stated to be aged 17 years. She was also forwarded to the learned Magistrate and her statement was also recorded before the Magistrate 4. The petitioner was granted interim bail vide order dated 08.01.2026. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that perhaps investigation is completed in the meantime and the same is confirmed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor who submits that final form by way of charge-sheet has been submitted vide C.S. No. 137/2025 dated 30.11.2025. 6. In view of completion of investigation, the interim bail granted vide order 08.01.2026 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions – that the petitioner shall be available for trial if one commences; that the petitioner shall not hamper or tamper with evidence; and that the petitioner shall not intimidate or harass the victim or the family members of the victim. 7. Violation or breach of condition(s) shall entail cancellation of the bail. 8. The petition stands disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
