T S RAYALU The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No. 29659 of 2025, dated 20.11.2025. The operative portion of the said order is extracted hereunder: “…..this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release the amounts to the petitioner in accordance with two quality control certificates i.e., 1.dated 08.02.2023 for a sum of Rs.44,59,540/- and 2.dated 24.01.2023 for a sum of Rs.60,270/- issued by the respondents, within a period of five (05) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order….” 2. Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondents/contemnors furnished a copy of Letter No.FIN01- FMU0MISC/350/2022(1778130), dated 11.09.2026, issued by the 2nd respondent, wherein it is stated that the Finance Department has received the following bills in respect of the present contempt case and the same have been cleared. The details are as follows: Bill No. Net amount (Rs.) Payment Status 2026-71451234 47,80,411/- Cleared on 11.09.2026 3. Therefore, learned counsel for the respondents/contemnors requested this Court to close the contempt case. 4 4. Recording the above submissions and, in view of the fact that the amounts have been cleared by the respondents in favour of the petitioner, the Contempt Case is closed.
