The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the failure of the respondent and refusal of the WBSEDCL in shifting a transformer which is situated at the premises of the petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite having made several grievances the respondent WBSEDCL has taken no steps for shifting such transformer. 2. On behalf of the WBSEDCL it is submitted that the subject transformer had been installed 35 years ago and the petitioner is subsequent purchaser of the premises. In any event, the process and formalities for shifting for the transformer have been clearly stipulated in the Report filed by the WBSEDCL. This fact has also been communicated to the petitioner by a letter dated 8 December 2025. 2 3. In view of the letter dated 8 December 2025, WPA 28263 of 2025 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to respond or act in terms of the letter dated 8 December 2025. 4. In case the petitioner decides to comply with the obligations as contained in the letter dated 8 December 2025, the respondent is directed to act in accordance with law and take necessary steps.
