JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 3 20-02-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State. 2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in Bhrahmpura P. S. Case No. 132 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 338, 336(3), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. 3. As per F.I.R., these petitioners are alleged to have taken Rs. 30 lacs from the informant on various dates through cash and cheques and thereafter gave him a degree of Adesh University, Bhatinda (Punjab) in 2024. When informant tried to register himself in MCI, Patna, he came to know that the aforesaid degree was fake and when informant approached these Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2132 of 2026(3) dt.20-02-2026 2/2 petitioners, they issued informant five cheques of Account No. 537402010001227 of Union Bank of India but the same were dishonoured due to insufficient funds. Petitioners have got three criminal antecedents. 4. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedents, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is refused.
